Design Manager and Facilitator

Lena Nielsen is an accomplished professional with over 19 years of experience in business development, administration, human resources, learning and development, and operations. She holds a degree in International Business Administration from Grenå Business School and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Design Management & Cultures from the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. 

In her role as Operations Director and Head of Academy at DK&A and Design Thinkers Academy London, Lena specialized in building and delivering bespoke innovation projects and learning and development programmes for global organizations and NGOs. Her recent clients include McCain, Westminster City Council, Deloitte, and ServiceNow. 

Beyond her operational responsibilities, Lena is also a coach and facilitator, contributing to the development of systems thinking and innovation practices.

Lena’s multifaceted expertise and dedication to fostering innovation have made her a valuable asset in the design and business management communities.
