Program Highlights

Day 1 – Empathize & Define
We start with an introduction to the design thinking mindset and a creative warm-up to get into the flow. Participants then dive into the Empathize phase, exploring user research, empathy maps, and personas, while experimenting with AI to uncover hidden patterns in data. Working with a case challenge, they analyze interview material and use AI tools to spot themes.
In the Define phase, insights are synthesized into problem statements and “How Might We” questions, sharpened with AI prompts to reframe perspectives.
The day closes with an introduction to ideation: participants learn brainstorming methods, generate ideas both by hand and with AI, and experience AI as a devil’s advocate to challenge their assumptions. By the end of the day, teams have selected promising concepts and reflected on how AI can act as a creative partner.
Day 2 – Ideate, Prototype & Test
The second day begins with a short recap and energy boost before teams roll up their sleeves to prototype their chosen ideas. Using simple materials, storyboards, and AI-generated visuals or scripts, they bring concepts to life quickly and tangibly. Prototypes are then tested through peer feedback sessions, while AI tools demonstrate how feedback can be summarized and even simulated with virtual users.
After iterating on their ideas, participants shift focus to their own real-world projects. They map the design thinking process onto their professional challenges and explore where AI can support their next steps, with peer coaching to strengthen their plans.
The program concludes with key takeaways on creative problem-solving, ethical use of AI, and each participant leaves with a concrete action plan to apply immediately in their work.
This course is designed for experienced Design Thinking practitioners interested in exploring how AI can support and enhance their practice. Through a mix of hybrid learning, hands-on sessions, and individual follow-up, participants will experiment with AI tools for research, persona creation, journey mapping, and stakeholder analysis, while keeping human-centered skills at the core.
