Decide With Clarity
Founder: Arne van Oosterom
Critical thinking, decision making and analytical thinking, trained as one skill instead of three separate classes.
Format
1 day in-person, or 3 x 2 hour virtual sessions with a real decision carried between them.
Duration
1 day, or 3 sessions across 2 to 3 weeks.
Description
Most training separates critical thinking, decision making and analytical thinking into different courses, even though no one uses them separately at work. This program trains them as a single loop: read a situation clearly, weigh what actually matters, decide, then check the decision against what happened. Participants bring a real decision they are currently facing and work it through the loop live, not a case study.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will:
- Separate what you know from what you are assuming, before deciding
- Use a structured method to weigh options under real time pressure
- Build a personal decision journal habit that checks predictions against outcomes
- Recognize the specific bias most likely to distort your own decisions
For who?
Managers and specialists who own recommendations or calls other people act on. Works best with 8 to 16 people from the same team or function.
