Creative Thinking and AI

Format
1 day in-person, or 3 x 2.5 hour virtual sessions with a real task carried between each one.

1 day, or 3 virtual sessions, each with real work tested in between.
Description
Not a session about creativity theory. Four short movements, each showing you something your own brain just did, then giving you a way to work around it. It opens with live exercises in pattern-seeking bias, the same instinct that makes you see a face in an electrical socket, then breaks the habit of treating your first idea as the finished one. A quantity-first ideation sprint and a forced-connection exercise show what happens when you stop filtering too early. The session closes by deciding where AI belongs: to expand the net and argue the other side, never to make the final call. You leave with your own written rule for exactly where that line sits in your work.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will:
- Catch your own first, most obvious idea and treat it as a starting point instead of a finish line
- Use a quantity-first, forced-connection method to generate raw material before filtering
- Write a personal decision rule for when AI belongs in your creative process and when to keep it out
- Recognize the pattern-seeking bias your own brain and AI both run on, so you stop accepting the first answer by default
